In recent years, the Van business unit has grown into a solid contributor to sales, revenues & margin within MAN Truck & Bus SE. Currently, approx. 30,000 units are sold worldwide through our own sales organisation at NSCs and private importers.
In the coming years there is a clear growth path defined including a dedicated electrification of the entire product portfolio.

Tasks

 

  • Managing & steering a defined set of countries in Middle East & Africa
  • You are the driver for the set up/update of a country strategy plan in line with overall van strategy
  • You are responsible for the operative steering of your countries and act as their main interface in HQ for the van business (including all relevant planning processes as well as price and margin steering)
  • Proactively recommend potential countermeasures & campaigns in case of major target deviation
  • Channeling escalations on MD/SD level of countries within HQ and secure in-time feedback
  • Prime contact for Van Sales Director & MD for quantitative & qualitative target setting and achievement
  • Providing support on forward looking KPIs to support volume growth and qualitative development of van business
  • Managing and integrating all other HQ interfaces focusing on integrated offering (e.g. CSM, TopUsed, Financial Services, Training Academy)
  • Market Sales Management means shaping the future of the van business by acting as a facilitator. You will be the connecting point between HQ and your markets for strategic sales initiatives and disruptions to the current business model with your markets, e.g. BEV strategy or eCommerce

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • You have successfully completed your studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering.
  • You have at least 5 years of professional sales experience
  • You have experience in vehicle sales with regard to planning, target agreement and reporting
  • You have an analytical and strategic mindset and the ability to understand different market conditions and situations
  • You are proactive, self-motivated and team-oriented
  • You have a clear understanding of the commercial vehicle business in terms of pricing, discounts and bonus negotiations
  • You have intercultural and international experience, including excellent English skills (further language skills would be desirable)
  • You have very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
