Your Tasks
- Monitor and report on recurring defects from the Service Desk system.
- Communicate, regularly, with Regional Technical Support Engineers / Area Service Managers (Middle East), to resolve technical issues.
- Assist where required in providing technical information and advice to both importers and fleet operators.
- Resolve customer complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and the Company within the given KPI’s.
- Produce reports and case histories in respect of product failures in accordance with given guidelines.
- Produce the “Top 10” Middle East defect report Monthly for Truck and Bus.
- Produce statistical analysis of failure rates from GA systems for all Middle East importers.
- Represent the centre in meetings within MTB and with Private Capital Importers.
- Be an integral part of the Product Management Team and liaisons between product and after sales portfolios.
- Actively participate in Product Request process for preventative product engineering.
- In collaboration with Area Service Managers (Middle East) create and distribute local information bulletins when required.
Your Qualificationt
- Degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years relevant working experience.
- A range of demonstrated technical training courses that support the years of experience.
- Tertiary training in business management (preferred).
- MENA experience advantageous.
- Capacity and flexibility / stamina and energy.
- MAN Electronic systems, (Host, Avis, MANCats, MANTED, EZIS, MANEC etc).
- MAN Body Builder Guidelines.
- Complete understanding of vehicle components and service technical knowledge.
- Good command of computer systems and data processing applications.
- Driving licence for light vehicles preferably also for trucks and buses.
- English skills mandatory.
