You can look forward to these tasks
  • Investigate and compare different energy markets and cost structures in China and Europe and analyze how they can be leveraged for cost-efficient charging of TRATON fleets as well as third party EV fleets
  • Assess the technical and regulatory feasibililty of implementing TRATON charging management solutions in different markets
  • Evaluate, calculate or simulate potential revenue streams for EV fleets (e.g. trading, ancillary services, grid costs) accordingly, including:
    • Potential revenue from optimized battery aging and battery life shaping
    • Energy savings through optimized preconditioning of batteries and cabin
  • Evaluate and compare already available charging management solutions, with a focus on the optimization features of those offers
  • Document results and used models in an understandable way
  • Present results including forecasts for the coming years
 
We are looking forward to
  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German and Swedish is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with modeling
  • Self-driven and results-oriented

 

Additional information

An internship of up to 3 months prior to the master's thesis (approx. 6 months) is desirable.
