Your tasks

Lead the design and continuous improvement of lighting components
Ensure compliance with all technical specifications, legislation and industry standards
Collaborate with system architects and other engineering teams to integrate lightning components into the vehicle
Define and execute validation tests, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and in-vehicle testing
Act as the technical interface for international suppliers
Monitor development progress to ensure quality, timing, and milestone adherence
Analyze and resolve technical issues during development and in the field
Continuously enhance component performance based on test results and user feedback
Create and maintain technical documentation for components
Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in lighting component development or a similar role
Experience working in international and cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of lighting components, especially for heavy duty vehicles
Experience with system integration and validation in the automotive sector
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Intercultural competence and ability to collaborate across time zones
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English written and spoken
