EVPP is responsible for the Requirementsmanagement for Properties and Complete Vehicle Functions (CV-functions) in the brand MAN. Guided by the brand identity we translate the Ambition levels from Sales and Marketing into technical targets and requirements and define abilities and functional behavior of the MAN vehicles. In strong collaboration with the other TRATON brands, we identify common and brand specific requirements and submit them into the development areas.The Property management is divided into the two layers, Product- and Vehicle Properties. Under every Product Property you find multiple Vehicle Properties, belonging to the same area concerning customer values.

Your tasks 

 

  • Strategically and overall responsible for driving the property work within your Property

  • Develop a roadmap for the Property in technical product planning to ensure performance reaches the strategically decided ambition level

  • Gather information from the market, customers, development areas, and underlying Vehicle Properties 

  • Create transparency concerning the actual status, future needs, targets, and expected outcomes of projects and initiatives

  • Collaborate with Vehicle Property Managers for Handling & Steering, Active Safety, Passive Safety, Braking, External Lighting, Security, and Mobility by coordinating the group and aggregating results at the Product Property level

 

Your qualifications 

 

  • Technical expertise in Vehicle safety (active safety, passive safety, ADAS, braking, traction and steering systems) 

  • Knowledge and understanding of customer needs and the international market for commercial vehicles

  • Strong communication in crossfunctional setup within engineering, sales, and product planning

  • Coordination and management skills

  • Structured and transparent way of working 

  • Language skills in German and English
