Your Responsibilities

 

  • You will plan, organise, coordinate, and manage the Safety team for product projects in the Truck & Bus sector

  • You will steer and coordinate the achievement of relevant tasks related to product safety

  • You will support members from various engineering departments

  • You will ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations, standards, and norms in the areas of product safety and high voltage safety

  • You will transparently highlight deviations and initiate measures to achieve or balance targets

  • You will be responsible for status reporting to project and line committees

  • You will provide expert input to solve complex product safety issues within the assigned project

  • You will be a member of the overarching MTB-E Safety team, contributing practical experience to continuously improve processes and methods

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field)

  • At least 5 years of experience in development

  • Several years of professional experience in product safety, ideally with a focus on high voltage safety (e.g., as a responsible test/design engineer for safety-relevant components or systems)

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations

  • Ability to create and maintain safety documentation and reports

  • Practical experience in project management and MAN PEP

  • Strong communication, coordination, and moderation skills

  • Convincing customer orientation and a solution-oriented approach

  • Initiative, determination, and team orientation

  • Fluent German and English language skills
