Your tasks

 

  • Support of prototype / test engines in the test field of the "Engineering Powertrain" department
  • Execution of partial assemblies and engine conversions as well as test-oriented engine configurations on the test bench
  • Independent fault diagnosis and rectification on the test bench
  • Programming of test runs in the automation system (AVL Puma Open, Kratzer PAtoolsTX)
  • Implementation of test specifications and execution of test runs on the test bench
  • Independent work on the engine test bench
  • Close cooperation with the development departments / engineers
  • Ensuring cleanliness and quality standards on the test bench

 

Your qualifications

 

  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or car mechanic
  • Master craftsman or technician training in the field of mechanical engineering or automotive technology desirable
  • Founded engine knowledge with regard to function and design
  • Initial professional experience in engine testing is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of measurement technology and mechatronics is an advantage
  • High degree of teamwork and integration skills
  • Calm and confident appearance as well as very good communication skills
  • Written and spoken English skills to ensure secure communication in an international environment
  • Independent and structured work as well as strong quality awareness
